back from my Bangkok trip!! had lots of fun and did quite a bit of shopping and eating. think I put on weight after this trip but it's ok cause I truly enjoyed myself. some pics to share. the rest are on Facebook. (:

the hotel we stayed in and the place was nice!!

me and angel.

some thai food - paad thai (fried rice noodles) and tom yum soup. yum! (:
banana crepe with vanilla ice-cream from Loft @ Central. this was great!! (:

more thai desserts. totally love the mango sticky rice. literally a must-eat in Thailand. (:

by the poolside for breakfast. the view was totally wow!!

after shopping at Chatuchak, we took some pics while waiting for the rest of the group for lunch.
a thai snack - flying saucers. quite good. but can get quite sick of it because of the coconut.
dinner was steamboat at MBK.
breakfast for the last day. a heart-shaped sausage that pat took. thought it was pretty. (:

dinner at some restaurant serving chinese food at the airport. food was pretty ok.
the group I was travelling with other than my parents and sisters. it was fun travelling with the aunties and uncles - mum's makan kakis. lol. had quite a bit of tom yum soup the last few days at BKK. very different from what we have in Singapore. it's not sour or too spicy. totally great for someone who loves thai food but can't take spicy stuff. (:

back in school. life has been great. after 12 weeks, this is the first time I'm quite happy and smiling from my heart. really enjoying school and I'm going to make the most out of it, get the best memories for the remaining weeks in school before we all graduate. (:

something random - I learnt that when you don't force things to go your way and let nature take its course, things will be better. although the outcome of some things are not what I wish for, but right now, I'm happy with how things are now, happy with the current status quo. cause I believe that if it's mine, no matter how long it's away from me, it'll still return to me at the end of the day. so no point forcing things. if things remain as how it is now or get better in a good way, I'm contented already. p.s: don't worry, I'm okay. (:
